About this lesson

Original lesson notes from the instructor’s YouTube description.

A call option is a financial instrument that gives you the right, but not the obligation, to buy a stock at a set price, the strike price, before a specific expiration date. When you buy a call, you can define your maximum risk (stop loss) upfront: the premium you paid ($10 for example). You can estimate potential profits under different scenarios. In the app, we share option trade ideas and provide a simulation tool that estimates how much you could gain or lose as the stock moves. It helps you compare scenarios and understand the potential reward alongside the risk. We’ve done what’s shown in this video many times over the past couple of years. Each trade has its own risks, and past results don’t guarantee future performance.
