The percentage of up to eight recent reports where actual EPS exceeded the analyst estimate. Missing estimates are excluded; meets are not beats. It measures earnings history, not investment wins or the chance a stock will rise.

Why can a stock fall after beating earnings?
Guidance, margins, valuation and what investors had already priced in can matter more than an EPS beat. Compare the reported result with the separate historical price windows; neither guarantees the next reaction.
