Tesla cars have been approved for purchase by public, party, and government groups in China's Jiangsu province. This is the first time Tesla has been included on such a list. Elon Musk’s company is the only foreign-owned car manufacturer approved, joining nine other brands like Geely-owned Volvo, SAIC-owned MG, and state-owned Changan.
